001 :   this is a private, selective & independent blog for hughie campbell from amazon's the boys. private means i only write with mutuals, there is no exception to this rule; selective means i don't always follow back, please don't take this as personal! i prioritize connections with other people and writing stuff that will impact my blog. activity wise i'm often on the dash but i don't always write and when i do i prefer plot - based threads.
.   ^{• i use the block button freely and openly, but if i want to break the mutual for whatever reason i will softblock unless stated otherwise in your rules.}002 :   i prefer writing long replies, with an established plot and a goal. that being said, i also enjoy shortish threads and going with the flow if the situation is right— i think short threads are good for when you want to get a feeling of the other person's writing or they can be great starter points that can develop into something longer. however, i don't do one-liner threads. logically i don't always expect my replies to be matched in length, as i know i tend to ramble, but i think it's polite to show you're as excited about it as i am. meaning : don't reply to long paragraphs with a one-liner. i know it's extreme but you get me. if a part of my reply to you becomes, at any point, tedious or you can't think of a way to respond, tell me ! i won't get mad at you for telling me you have an issue with it. communication is key.003 :   do not interact if you're underage. i mean this : the show is very mature and i don't feel comfortable interacting with people under eighteen due to that. triggers for this blog include, but are not limited to : gore, extreme violence, drug use, death, abuse, sex, etc. most things will be tagged accordingly, but not all. please take this into consideration! generally, i don't tag mentions of stuff ( such as briefly mentioning blood, etc ), but i will if it's stated in your rules or you ask me to.004 :   this blog is affiliated with TOONSUPE and as such, they are a big priority to me! any mentions of noir will be in relation to their portrayal exclusively, and even my own writing of hughie post-season 3 is heavily influenced by our interactions, so please keep that in mind!

005 :   general rp etiquette applies. homophobia, transphobia, racism and the like will not be tolerated at all. i am here to have fun and write, so i don't get involved in drama or personal stuff between users. i don't do dni lists. i will not reblog callout posts unless i see the person in question is a danger to a community. i think at this point we all know what to expect of each other, so just don't be an asshole.006 :   my formatting is honestly the simplest thing ever. i use big text, bold and italics, with some underlined text here and there. you do not have to match my formatting at all : if you use colored text, special characters and the like, i honestly admire you for your dedication. with that said, i do not match formatting either and will stick with the one i use after a long battle against having formatting disrupt my writing. i cut my posts, and i don't mind if you reblog my answered asks as if they are a thread, that's why i put them in a separate post. the only thing that will prevent me from writing with you are big gifs used as icons, or if your formatting makes it hard for me to read your stuff. for the moment i will not use icons.007 :   shipping is not a priority, but i will not pretend i don't like it. i ship chemistry, which is gained after tons of interactions both ic and ooc. we can talk about it :) chances are i will be up to it. on a similar note, i practice both mains and exclusives— being a main with me means you get priority on replies, plotting and the like, but i will still interact with other interpretations of the character. i don't usually require extensive ic interaction for me to consider someone a main. being exclusive means i will only write with your interpretation, and any mentions of the character in my threads will be about yours. it takes a lot of ic and ooc interaction for me to consider someone an exclusive. ship exclusives, although rare, can happen, and it means i will only ship romantically with your interpretation but write normally with others.
